I do not use the term “broken family” in my practice. Families today come in a variety of different structures. The “family tree” is often much more complicated than it once was. But that is not “broken”.

My personal experience with a blended family as a child, and also as an adult, informs and supports my ability to work with complex family systems. I help families learn how to cultivate bonds between step-parents and children, develop appropriate boundaries and expectations of those relationships. I provide much needed support to single parents as they navigate parenthood alone. Above all, I strive to help families create a healthy and functioning system that fits their unique needs.
